This dataset presents information on hourly electricity consumption associated with electric mobility (EM) on the public grid, segmented by state, municipality, and district.
The records allow for understanding usage patterns, identifying areas of higher demand, planning new charging infrastructure, and evaluating the impact of the growth of electric mobility on the grid.
The information also assists in the integration of renewable energy sources and storage solutions, contributing to an efficient energy transition.
The data is obtained from internal E-REDES sources that monitor monthly consumption associated with electric mobility. The update frequency is monthly.
The fields that make up the dataset are:
- Date – Date of the record
- Time – Time of the record
- District – District name
- Municipality – Municipality name
- Parish – Parish name
- Consumption – Electricity consumption (in kWh)
This dataset contains the districts of Aveiro, Beja, Braga, Bragança, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Évora, Faro, Guarda, and Leiria.
Use Cases:
- Analyze energy consumption patterns in different geographic areas.
- Strategic planning of new Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCPs).
- Study of the impacts of the growth of electric mobility on the electricity grid.
- Support for the integration of renewable energies and demand-based storage.
