This dataset presents the contracted power capacity and the corresponding number of active contracts within the electricity distribution network operated by E-REDES, aggregated by district, municipality, and parish.
The data makes it possible to characterize the contracted power installed in each territory and relate it to the number of associated contracts, enabling the analysis of electrification intensity and the average contract size in each geographic location.
It allows the monthly monitoring of both contracted power and the number of contracts, supporting studies on the planning and reinforcement of the electricity network, as well as the characterization of potential electricity consumption associated with each territory.
Use cases:
- Network electrification.
- Analysis of contracted power by district, municipality, and parish.
- Monitoring the monthly evolution of the number of contracts and contracted power.
- Support for the planning, sizing, and reinforcement of the electricity distribution network.
- Identification of areas with a higher density of contracts or contracted power.
Update frequency: monthly
Included variables:
- Year/Month — Reference period of the information, in year and month format.
- District — Name of the district where the contracts are located.
- District Code — Identification code of the district.
- Municipality — Name of the municipality where the contracts are located.
- Municipality Code — Identification code of the municipality.
- Parish — Name of the parish where the contracts are located.
- Parish Code — Identification code of the parish.
- Contracted Power — Total contracted power associated with active contracts within the territory under analysis.
- Number of Contracts — Number of active contracts associated with the territory under analysis.
